The Stable Cyclist is a place where we gather to talk about bikes (mostly MTB), mentality and Mental Health. Come with as the host JP, invites you in to conversations with people he’s met over the years. We won’t have stories about how to train or how to win a bike race here. Instead we’ll hear about what goes on in these athlete’s minds and sometimes we’ll even dive into the deep end of the pool and talk about mental health

Nick Ybarra is the founder of the Maah Daah Hey 100 and the Badlands Races Series. He is also the Director of the Save the MDH non-profit organization that annually keeps the entire Maah Daah Hey trail system alive and functional for it's users. But beyond that, Nick is continually looking for ways to improve, enhance and protect the trail, whether that's with local trail advocacy or working with Congress in Washington D.C.
Today Nick comes on the podcast to chat with JP about the work they are doing as well as some wild tales from the trails and of course Nick and JP can never get together without diving into the beloved Maah Daah Hey 100.
